Thank you for your enquiry about the A40 Farina Club. We were founded in late 1979 to cater for owners of Austin A40 Farina MkI and MkII cars (1958 - 1967) and now have a membership of over 600.
This is partly due to regular contact with motoring magazines such as "Practical Classics", "Your Classic", "Classic Cars" and "Classic & Sportscar" and with motoring organisations such as the
A.A. and the R.A.C..
For an annual subscription of only £12 the club offers:-
Technical advice on car mechanics through our team of technical advisors.
"Farina News", an illustrated quarterly magazine printed to good quality in A5 format. The magazine contains Club news, offers of cars and new and used spares for sale and members’ articles on a variety of motoring topics including car mechanics and hints for the A40 owner.
Local group meetings in many areas, involve discussions and social events.
A spares service giving advice on sources of spares, including obsolete items. A range of steel wings, body panels and repair sections re manufactured through the Club. Special discounts are given by many of the specialist parts suppliers.
Club windscreen Sticker and membership card.
Arrangements for club members to attend car shows and publicise the Club.
We also hold an annual social weekend which includes a gathering of cars for informal judging, the annual general meeting and other events and entertainments, as well as accommodation and
refreshments.
Our subscription is lower than most other car clubs and we pride ourselves on offering good value for money to our members. I do hope you will join us and I enclose a membership application form
for you to complete and return to me with the £12 subscription (cheques/P.O.s payable to "A40 Farina Club"). Please allow up to three weeks for your application to be processed.
